Wildfire Spread Prevention Solution

Promact Wildfire Spread Prevention Solution

The Promact wildfire prevention solution not only stops the spread of fire but also reduces smoke and prevents the release of toxic harmful gases produced by combustion.
Using this technology is like putting a fireproof jacket over forests.

Before a wildfire can advance, the solution is sprayed on dry tree branches using fire extinguishers for small areas or helicopters for larger zones.
The barrier created by this solution prevents the fire from spreading and provides critical time for firefighting and emergency response teams to contain affected areas.
With this technology, large-scale forest fires can be avoided, showcasing the high performance and effectiveness of the product.

Advantages:

  • Water-based and environmentally friendly

  • Non-corrosive to extinguishers

  • Unlimited shelf life

  • Ready-to-use — no refilling required until pressure drops

  • Applicable via fire trucks, helicopters, airplanes, and drones

Applications:

  • Forests

  • Natural reserves

  • Wildland and vegetation-rich areas

Fireproof Coatings (Paints)

Promact Fireproof Coating (Paint)

Promact fireproof coating can be applied on steel structural and industrial metal frameworks as a thin layer (1–3 mm) to increase the fire resistance of building materials.
In the event of a fire, it helps delay the ignition and collapse of the steel structure, preventing severe and irreparable damage.

Steel loses its strength at 400–600°C. The coating works by releasing cooling gases, which lower the temperature of the steel structure, delaying roof collapse and facilitating faster rescue operations.

According to Jacques Warnon, Technical Director of the European Paints and Inks Trade Association:
“In harsh climatic conditions — especially during the winter, when temperature and humidity are challenging — working with water-based coatings in open spaces can be very difficult.”
Therefore, when applying these coatings, special attention should be paid to the recommendations of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB):

  1. These coatings are highly affected by environmental conditions such as rain and humidity. To protect them, always use a topcoat such as epoxy paints, urethane paints, or oil-based paints.

  2. Make sure the surface to be coated is completely clean and dry. If needed, use sandblasting or chemical cleaning solutions to prepare the substrate.

  3. Always apply the fireproof coating in at least 3 thin layers with the time intervals recommended by the manufacturer. For the final protection, apply two top layers of epoxy or alkyd paint.

Advantages:

  • Water-based and environmentally friendly
